MPPD Polar Plunge

Description

This fun event raises money and awareness for over 30,000 Special Olympics athletes in South Carolina. There is a costume contest, live music by Bach to Rock Mount Pleasant, and coffee & bagels from Ruby's Bagels. We have been hosting the Polar Plunge at The Windjammer since 2015 and together have raised over $200,000 for the Special Olympics! Our overall fundraising goal for this year is $50,000.  

 The Polar Plunge is not just about jumping in the ocean, it’s about raising money and awareness for the Special Olympics. A fifty-dollar donation gets you registered to take the plunge and a polar plunge t shirt.
