DESCRIPTION:This fun event raises money and awareness for over 30\,000 Special Olympics athletes in South Carolina. There is a costume contest\, live music by Bach to Rock Mount Pleasant\, and coffee & bagels from Ruby's Bagels. We have been hosting the Polar Plunge at The Windjammer since 2015 and together have raised over $200\,000 for the Special Olympics! Our overall fundraising goal for this year is $50\,000.  \n\n\n\n The Polar Plunge is not just about jumping in the ocean\, it's about raising money and awareness for the Special Olympics.
