Description
Rob Salvatore is co-owner of the Charleston Battery Soccer League and serves as Club Chairman. Rob purchased the team with his brother and late father after the 2019 USL Championship season. For the last three years he built out the Patriots Point venue while reengaging the new Battery brand in both the local community and in the growing US soccer ecosystem. Rob also actively invests in early stage startups across a broad range of industries.
Prior to moving to Charleston and the Battery acquisition, Rob co-founded and ran a venture-backed content platform, Tongal, that reimagined the creative development and production process to better serve a world with infinite channels and fragmented audiences. His early career was in banking and financial restructuring first at Chase then Alvarez & Marsal.
Rob grew up in New Jersey, graduated from Boston College's Management Honors Program and later received his MBA from the University of Texas.
