YPGs contribute on habitat site

Moultrie News  November 20, 2025

Charleston Habitat for Humanity (CHFH) recently welcomed the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group — led by Josh Kramer of Private I Print and composed of local businesses committed to strengthening their community — for a Nov. 15 Team Build. The group made significant progress in preparing the site of CHFH’s next affordable neighborhood.

The Young Professionals dedicated the day to the careful demolition of an aging structure on the property. Their efforts — removing drywall, wood framing and other interior materials — represent a crucial step toward breaking ground on the first of four new single-family homes planned for Mount Pleasant.

With housing costs at an all-time high, the contributions made by the Chamber group are especially meaningful. Their hands-on work directly supports stability for local families and helps further prosperity throughout the community.

“This kind of hands-on support helps move our mission forward in a very real way,” said a Charleston Habitat for Humanity representative. “The work completed today brings us one step closer to providing safe, stable, affordable housing for families in our community.”

The Nov. 15 Team Build was sponsored by Pages Okra Grill who has made a significant commitment to Charleston HFH in support of affordable housing in the Charleston area.
