Mount Pleasant Celebrates a Year of Success in Business Community

The Town of Mount Pleasant is commemorating a year filled with growth and prosperity in our business community showcased by 23 ribbon-cutting ceremonies. 2023 brought an increase in ribbon-cutting ceremonies, with a total of 3 more than in 2022.
These events, organized in collaboration with the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, celebrate the accomplishments of various businesses, highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit in the community.
"To the entrepreneurs who chose Mount Pleasant, thank you for believing in us. Your success is our success, and together, we're shaping a thriving, vibrant future. Here's to another year of growth and prosperity in Mount Pleasant!" said Mount Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie.
A range of businesses, including restaurants, retail stores, schools, gyms, and offices, were celebrated during the ceremonies. Attended by the Mayor, Town Council members, board members from the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, and local media representatives, the ribbon cuttings have become a symbol of community support for local establishments.
"The number of ribbon cuttings is a great example of the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce's mission of building business East of the Cooper in partnership with the Town of Mount Pleasant, as well as encouraging business and community success. We look forward to even more growth together in 2024!" said Rebecca Imholz, Director of the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce.
