Networking extravaganza is back
Moultrie News May 5, 2026
Get your business cards ready! The largest networking event in Mount Pleasant — presented again by Crews Subaru — is officially set for Sept. 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Omar Shrine at Patriots Point.
Coming off the momentum of a completely sold out event in 2025, demand for the 16th annual Expo is higher than ever. Organizers report that the event is already one-third sold out months in advance, prompting a call to local businesses to secure their spots before the floor plan reaches capacity.
“The excitement for the 16th annual Mount Pleasant Business & Community Expo is at an all time high,” stated Ben Knight, Expo committee chair. “After selling out last year, we knew we had to open registration early. Being over 50 percent committed this far ahead of September shows just how vital this event has become for our local economy.”
The 2026 Expo will build on last year’s expansion, featuring the return of the Job Fair component.
“We are continuing our commitment to help Mount Pleasant businesses find qualified talent,” Knight added. “The synergy between the traditional Expo and the Job Fair has created a unique environment where business growth and workforce development happen in real time.”
Sponsorships and exhibitor booths are available now. Businesses are encouraged to lock in their presence early to take advantage of current rates. Effective August 24, booth prices will increase to $500 for members and $550 for non-members.
Highlights of the 16th Annual Expo:
• Connect with hundreds of local entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and potential clients.
• Meet local talent and connect with employers actively hiring in the East Cooper area.
• The Building Business Podcast will be broadcasting on-site.
• Enjoy demonstrations, giveaways, food samples and a concluding Happy Hour from 4 to 5 p.m.
