Mayor Haynie to Kick Off Mount Pleasant’s Largest Networking Event

Holy City Sinner 9/19/24

Get your business cards ready! The largest networking event in Mount Pleasant — driven by Crews Subaru — is set to take place Thursday, September  26, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Omar Shrine Center, in partnership with the Town of Mount Pleasant.

“Wow – seven years as presenting sponsor of this wonderful networking event! As a locally owned business, we are thrilled to help other businesses come together.” Ken French, Marketing Guy, Crews Subaru continues, “As Robert Crews often says, we are blessed to worship, live and work in the Lowcountry. It is our privilege to support other businesses and to give back.”

The 14th Annual Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) Business and Community Expo is designed to be both fun and educational, with interactive exhibitor booths that offer demonstrations, giveaways and food samples. There will be games, prizes, a food truck, free ice cream, and a happy hour from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. As always, admission and parking are FREE.

Kicking off the event will be a local mascot parade led by Mount Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie. He recently proclaimed September 22-28, 2024 as Business Appreciation Week. It is a week-long celebration filled with social media campaigns, dynamic events, and networking opportunities, and culminates in the Expo. “The annual Business Expo shows the energy and comradery of the Mount Pleasant Business Community. Come see how vibrant business is in our town," exclaimed Mayor Will Haynie.
