Dance/yoga instructor — and now business owner — Julia Powell got her roll on during the ribbon-cutting of her new retail operation, Freedom Studio, on July 26, as she led a varied ensemble of friends, family and community leaders in a dance celebration in the searing Lowcountry heat. The yoga, dance and sculpt studio officially opened its doors on July 8 at its 568 Belle Station Blvd location in Mount Pleasant. The new business already boasts 100 members, who all subscribe to the “it’s all about having fun” credo.
