Chamber presents 'Shop where You Live'
Moultrie News 11/14/24
The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) and the Town of Mount Pleasant recently announced the return of the "Shop Where You Live" campaign, encouraging residents to support local businesses during the holiday shopping season. The initiative kicked off Nov. 1 and marks the fourth annual campaign and will run through Dec. 31.
Shopping locally not only supports your friends, neighbors and family members who own businesses, but it also helps keep our local economy thriving. To celebrate, the MPCC will host weekly giveaways until the end of the year, offering a chance for shoppers to win a $50 gift card to a participating local business. To enter, simply comment on the weekly Shop Where You Live Instagram post, tagging a participating business and tagging two friends to shop with this holiday season.
“We are thrilled to partner with MPCC once again for this successful campaign,” said Mount Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie. “Our community is home to a variety of vibrant local businesses, and we encourage everyone to shop locally this holiday season.”
“Supporting local businesses not only strengthens our community, but also creates a festive and vibrant atmosphere for everyone”, said Kathleen Herrmann, MPCC President. “We encourage everyone to explore the unique offerings of our local shops and make this holiday season a memorable one for our businesses."
