Learn more about us at https://pickleballkingdom.com/. Position Summary Front desk team members are the face of Pickleball Kingdom. They greet members and guests, answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform other administrative tasks to ensure the Kingdom runs smoothly. Front desk team members may also be responsible for handling customer complaints or questions about services and products we provide or have for sale. They should know our various products and how to sell them, e.g., paddles, snacks, apparel, etc. They should know the pricing for all memberships and be able to explain the differences when asked. Essential Duties and Responsibilities -Provide exceptional customer service experience to all members, non-members, and facility users. -Create an excellent first impression of the Kingdom by providing a warm welcome, tidy appearance, and pleasant manner at all times. -Check-in members and visitors, and take payments when necessary. -Know the POS system and where to find everything. -Provide information on classes and availability. -Be familiar with all of our memberships and the benefits of each one. -Be familiar with lead management and membership sales. -Explain facility policies and procedures to new members and help them get acquainted with open play, the courts, paddle-up system, and answering questions about our services. -Ensure the safety and security of visitors, members, and staff at all times and take a responsible attitude towards maintaining the premises and facilities of Pickleball Kingdom. -Handle telephone inquiries as well as check voicemails, and give messages to the appropriate admin. -Open and close the facility. Be aware of all of the responsibilities that come with this position. -Maintain a clean and tidy environment behind and in front of the counter. -Restock inventory. -Able to attend work during evenings and weekends. -Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) -High School diploma equivalency. -A minimum of two years related experience is preferred. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. -Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
