Susan Sloate, Senior Recruiting Specialist of Fulcrum Staffing, will reveal tips and tricks to help secure your next position. After her presentation, attendees can network and have the opportunity to interview with potential employers!

Jamiel Kadri, CPA, is the President and founder of Fulcrum Staffing, a local firm that specializes in helping companies hire Accounting and Finance talent. After graduating from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Management, Jamiel began his career in “Big Four” Public Accounting in Charlotte, North Carolina. During that time, he served companies in the commercial industrial sector, which included large publicly traded companies, as well as medium-sized manufacturing and retail clients. Jamiel has also worked in corporate accounting for IBM and supported a start up search firm for over 6 years. During that time, he built a reputation for his professionalism, honesty and integrity, which is the foundation under which Fulcrum Staffing continues to operate since Jamiel started the company in January 2008. In 2014, Jamiel was named as one of Charleston’s Top “40 under 40” for both his business success and his philanthropic involvement.

Geoff Weber is the CEO of Heirloom Cloud Corporation, the fastest growing media digitizer in America. Geoff founded Heirloom in 2022 as he retired as a Commander from the US Navy. This included multiple combat deployments, attaché duty in Russia, a US Senate tour, and work for the Director of National Intelligence, where he received the Galileo award for his recruitment of brilliant men and women on the autism spectrum. Recently, he was honored by the South Carolina Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Major General (Ret.) Todd B. McCaffrey, as he inducted the company into the prestigious Gold level of the Veteran Friendly Employer Recognition Program. Tripp Hays, Explore Charleston, Hospitality
Tripp Hays joined the team at Explore Charleston in 2022 as a Destination Service Manager. In this capacity he works with groups to arrange activities and events outside of their host hotel. Prior to joining Explore Charleston Mr. Hays has spent 35 years in the hospitality industry with time at the Francis Marion Hotel, InterContinental Hotels, The Doubletree Historic District (currently Hotel Emeline) and The Mills House Hotel. His responsibilities have included General Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, Rooms Division Manager and Portfolio Revenue Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and served in the US Army as an Intelligence Analyst.
He is a former President of the Charleston Area Hotel Association and Chair of Charleston Travel Council. He has served adjunct faculty at The Culinary Institute at Trident Technical College and on Charleston County School District Career and Technology Steering Committee as well as Industry Advisor for Garrett Academy of Technology. He is a former Board Member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and also served on the board of the Chamber’s Educational Foundation.

Liam Gabriel joined the Charleston Battery in 2022 and is currently in his second season with the club. Liam works for the Battery as a Sales Account Executive, where he has helped mold a new generation of fans here in the LowCountry. Liam has helped the Battery break numerous records for attendance, revenue, and even lift a trophy here in Mount Pleasant. Prior to working with the Battery, Liam received his Master's Degree from High Point University where he studied Business Communications and Sales. Prior to receiving his Master's Degree, Liam played baseball at High Point University during his under-graduate studies, which helped open the door for him into the sports industry.
