About Major General James E. Livingston: Major General James E. Livingston served in the United States Marine Corps for over 33 years. He was awarded the nation’s highest military decoration, the Congressional Medal of Honor, for his extraordinary heroism and leadership during the Battle of Dai Do in Vietnam in May 1968. Throughout his distinguished career, he commanded at all levels—including serving as the Commanding General of the Marine Corps Reserve—and continues to be a passionate advocate for veterans and leadership development.
