All nonprofit board members share in the responsibility of the basic financial health and welfare of the organization. A realistic financial plan linked with a sound strategic plan ensures effective uses of resources. Board members must have a solid grasp of the basics of financial documents to be able to protect and enhance the nonprofit's capacity to the greater community.
Join SCORE presenter Kenneth Albert, a retired CPA and expert nonprofit consultant as he presents "How to Analyze Nonprofit Financial Health". This presentation covers: Overview of accounting and financial documents, Basic accounting definitions, Overview of tax and audit reports, Overview of ratios in determining financial health.
