Food for Thought is back! Join us Noon Thursday, August 5 at the Hilton Garden Inn for “Best Practices for Communicating with your Lawmakers!”
This will be a lively discussion (lunch included) to:
- Learn the difference between Town, County, State and Federal government representation and when to contact them
- Learn how to build relationships and communicate effectively with your lawmakers and
- Learn how to be an effective advocate for your business with lawmakers.
Marsi Thrash is the Senior Regional Director of Government Affairs for the American Psychiatric Association. Marsi manages legislative and regulatory priorities in 17 states and conducts advocacy training all over the United States for medical professionals.
David Carter is a Governmental Affairs Liaison and the CEO and Founder of Capital Consulting Group, a political consulting, public and government relations firm.
