This weekend, August 14 and 15, the community is invited to participate in the Charleston Animal Society’s Fill the Truck and Adoption event at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. Guests are welcome to donate new or gently used household items to an onsite truck, where Charleston Animal Society staff and volunteers will be filling the donation truck. All donations will go to Second Chance Resale & Adoption Center and be resold, with proceeds directly benefiting Charleston Animal Society. Those looking for a new furry friend are in luck because on Saturday only, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be adoptable pets onsite.
