Goosby Smith is an Associate Professor of Management\, Associate Professor of Leadership\, Assistant Provost for Diversity\, Equity\, and  Inclusion\, and Director of the Truth\, Racial Healing\, and Transformation Center (TRHT) at The Citadel in Charleston\, South Carolina. \n\n\n\nSmith holds a Ph.D. and M.B.A. in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management and a B.S. in Computer Science from Spelman College. Her research areas are  workplace inclusion\, classroom inclusion\,  diversity- and inclusion-related veterans issues\, cross-racial dialogue\, and interfaith unity. Smith is co-author of Beyond Inclusion (2014\, Palgrave Macmillan)\, editor of Blessed are Those Who Ask the Questions (forthcoming\, Information Age Publishing)\, and several academic journal articles. She is a member of  the Academy of Management where she has held a variety of elected and appointed leadership positions in the Gender and Diversity in Organizations (GDO) and  Management Spirituality and Religion (MSR) DIGs.  Her community service work is done through her memberships in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority\, Inc.\, American Mensa\, Charleston Red Cross\, and Greater St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church in the Charleston area. \n\n\n\nSmith is also a nationally known speaker\, trainer\, consultant\, author\, facilitator\, and advisor regarding inclusion\,  diversity\, and interfaith dialogue  in corporate\, not-for-profit\, educational and military work spaces.\n\n\n\nSeptember Virtual Luncheon Agenda
