Whether it's a visit to one of our historic battlegrounds or discovering your ancestral roots\, we invite you to discover your South Carolina story as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of America's Independence from Britain.\n\n\n\nMarissa Sams serves as the Executive Director for SC250 Charleston's signature\n\ncommemorative events\, as well as CEO and founder of Marissa Sams Events (MSE).\n\nWith more than 15 years of global event production and strategic leadership experience\,\n\nMarissa has planned and executed events on five continents - ranging from intimate cultural\n\ngatherings to large-scale corporate rallies. She has supported projects across many industries\,\n\ntechnology\, space exploration\, defense\, and global health.\n\n\n\nThe mission of MSE is to curate experiences that facilitate meaningful conversations\, foster\n\nconnections\, and drive lasting change.
