DESCRIPTION:Jim Westerhold is the General Manager of Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens\, Farms   May '2020-current.\n\nFormerly the Chair/Professor of the Forestry/Wildlife Department at Horry Georgetown Technical College and worked part time at Boone Hall for 13 years previous to this position at Boone Hall.\n\nPreviously a Wildlife Biologist with SC Department of Natural Resources and manager of other plantations in the Lowcountry totaling over 15 years\n\nMasters degree in Wildlife from Clemson University.\n\nGrew up on a farm.\n\nSpent several winter months in the Bering Sea as a fisherman.\n\nBlessed with good enough health to donate a kidney in 2025.\n\nJim and his wife of over 20 years (Missy) and daughter (Lily) live in Mount Pleasant and are very happy being a part of the Boone Hall Plantation Family.
